My mothers family were all  killed by the Nazis. Her family included many Rabbis and Cantors who  managed to hide  prayer books and other items including this  Eternal light  which was salvaged by  my Mom and Dad who had  migrated from Colombia South America  where they had  escaped to, and subsequently to   America, after I was being harrassed by other students    for being the only Jew in the only school in town, run by Priests . After their deaths,  I donated it, and It now  sits at the entrance to Congregation Agudath Sholom, In Stamford, Ct.  FW
